Landscape Technologist
You will play a crucial role in helping to keep UBC beautiful by participating in gardening and horticultural activities on the UBC campus. Your duties will include performing routine landscape maintenance, assisting in landscape design and installation, pruning and propagating plant material, using IPM and applying pesticides, maintaining and installing turf, maintaining inventory, and overseeing the work of labourers and apprentices. By determining plant health and soil fertility and working to ensure that plants are correctly identified and labeled, you will help promote the university as a "must see" for locals and visitors alike.
