• Must have at least 3 years milking experience.
• Be a good record keeper.
• Be on time - punctual/routine oriented.

• House available at a rent of $400.00 included is electricity/oil heat & all appliances.

Work Schedule:

• 55 hours per week.
• Workweek Thursday-Monday (Tuesday & Wednesday off).
• Milking 100 cows twice daily
• Start time 4:30am - 8am (1 hour for breakfast and 1 hour for lunch).
• Afternoon milking 3pm - finish 5:30-6pm.
• Check cows in the evening.

  Duties:

• Preparing feed for dairy cows.
• Feeding dairy cows.
• Grazing management for dairy cows.
• Ordering grain for dairy cows.
• Maintaining dairy equipment (milking, wash and feeding).
• Maintaining Harvestor unloader and belt feeders.
• Responsible for keeping Classification, Breeding, Herd Health and registration records.
• Responsible for heifer and cow breeding.
• Responsible for drying cows off, and introducing cows and heifers to the herd before calving.
• Identifying Herd Health issues, diagnose and treat.
