| Skills Needed: | - Minimum qualifications include a two-year diploma in production technology and at least three years industry work experience managing greenhouse and/or nursery production.
- You must be knowledgeable of WHMIS and safe horticulture work practices.
- Those who possess a Pesticide Applicators Certificate (Nursery and Greenhouse IPM) will be given preference
- You must also be proficient with computers including spreadsheet and word processing software and have operational experience with an environmental detection/alarm system (preferably ARGUS).
- You must be capable of working in a self-directed environment with minimal supervision, but also be willing to work as a team with faculty and staff to ensure an effective learning experience for students while maintaining a facility for crop production coexistent with that learning.
- This position requires cooperation and assistance with the lab staff in Landscaping and Turf/Horticulture Equipment maintenance, therefore skill and knowledge in at least one of these areas is anticipated for proper running of the full field lab.
- As maintenance in the horticulture industry involves the full week, you should be prepared to be flexible with your work hours, which could include work on Saturdays and/or Sundays

Kwantlen University College is opening for a permanent full-time instructional associate-production.
Work Schedule: - 35 hours per week.
- You should be prepared to be flexible with your work hours, which could include work on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
Duties: - We are seeking a dynamic person to provide support and assistance to students and faculty with the practical portion of course delivery at the Field Lab with the School of Horticulture's Production programs.
- This full-time regular position involves overall responsibility for upkeep and operation of the production facilities, equipment, supplies, crops(vegetables and flowers) and systems
- Preparation and setup of materials for student learning and some instructional guidance and evaluation of student work.
